At Amboseli National Park, when men and mountains meet, great things happen.

Why choose

Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National Park is located on the border with Tanzania exactly at the foot of the majestic Kilimanjaro. Founded in 1968 as a nature reserve, after only 6 years, in 1974 it was declared a National Park.
The landscape is mainly flat, covered with vegetation mostly composed of small clusters of shrubs, palms and marshy areas covered with papyrus plants. This type of habitat facilitates the sighting of the animals that live in the Park.

Among the main specimens that you will be able to spot there are the famous "Big five": lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants and rhinos; these are just some of the magnificent animals that you will be able to admire. The most daring and patient will be able to take post and Birdwatching to contemplate the various species of birds. These arrive at the Amboseli National Park between October and January in real migratory waves .

Last but not least, the majestic Kilimanjaro which, with its 3 volcanic cones (Kibo, Mawenzi and Shiwa) and an altitude of almost 5900 meters, offers its visitors an unmissable and unique spectacle in the its kind. It is the volcano, as well as the highest single mountain on earth. Its top is home to a perennial glacier that gives Kilimanjaro a year-round white hat.
