Maasai Mara is a large national game reserve, located in Narok, southwestern Kenya, adjacent to the Serengeti National Park in nearby Tanzania.

The Masai Mara National Reserve extends for 1,510 sq km and reaches altitudes of 2,170 meters above sea level. It is home to over 95 mammal species and over 570 bird species.

This magnificent place is named after the Maasai people who, since ancient times, emigrated to the area from the Nile basin.
